Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for taking the time to join us for Sustaining the New West: Conservation Challenges – Conservation Opportunities. We’re grateful that you care about this wonderful region and all the things that make it special.
Many of you asked if it would be possible to access the presentations of our speakers. We will have these available on our website at www.future-west.org under our “News” section by the beginning of next week.
We have one thing that we would like to ask of you. Future West continually strives to be a more effective organization, to understand the challenges facing us and to forge stronger partnerships with those like you, who want to keep this place special. To that end, we would appreciate it if you would provide us with some feedback on the conference. We do not expect long essays – although we will read it if that is what you send! – but we are eager to hear your immediate thoughts to the following questions:
1. What was your single biggest takeaway from the conference?
2. Did the conference change the way you think about the future challenges facing the landscape and communities of the Northern Rockies, and if so, how?
3. How will the conference affect your actions as an organization or as an individual in relation to conservation in the Northern Rockies?
4. What conservation issues do you feel are most important for us to consider moving forward?

We hope this conference will help to serve as the beginning of a collaborative effort to craft a conservation agenda for the 21st century that will meet the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities that were discussed. We sincerely look forward to further engagement with you as this initiative moves forward.
