Future West Celebrates Montana's Inaugural Wildlife And Transportation Summit
Future West was honored to have been a part of the Planning Committee for the inaugural Montana Wildlife And Transportation Summit at Carroll College in Helena from December 4th-5th. Future West’s Hannah Jaicks worked alongside Planning Committee Members on behalf of Montanans For Safe Wildlife Passage to collaboratively organize this event. It was two days filled with presentations, discussions and key strategies on addressing transportation, wildlife and safety needs in Montana.
We believe that this event has built a solid foundation for greater collaboration between agencies and NGOs and set the stage for a significant increase in on the ground efforts to reduce wildlife-vehicle accidents and enhance connectivity for wildlife. We are proud of the role that we played in getting the ball rolling and directly participating in the agenda planning and advising on facilitation. We are excited to work together and keep the momentum going from this event!
There's still time to give! With your support, we can continue to play a unique role in the conservation movement - a particularly important role during these contentious times. Future West helps folks realize that in the end, we are all in this together. Events like the Summit allow us to achieve our mission, and we couldn't do it without your generosity.
